Job summary

Benesch is seeking a highly experienced Bridge Inspector Project Manager / Team Leader in Colorado. You will join the Structural Assessment group, perform self-perform inspections, supervise teams, and develop load capacity ratings for NBIS-compliant projects.

Travel may be required; remote opportunities exist for suitable candidates. Strong communication and client relations are essential, along with guiding staff and delivering reports on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years related experience in bridge inspection.
• NBIS certified with CBSI and up-to-date refresher training.
• Experience preparing inspection reports and using NBIS-related tools.
• DOT publications familiarity and site-specific safety awareness.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor project teams performing bridge inspections.
• Coordinate multiple bridge inspection projects and reporting.
• Supervise inspection staff and ensure reports and load ratings are complete.
• Develop strategies to pursue and deliver projects with management.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure project delivery within budget.
