Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Bridge Inspector Team Leader/Designer to advance our Pennsylvania bridge inspection practice, with offices in Pottsville, Allentown, or King-of-Prussia. The role emphasizes inspection services, report generation, and load rating analysis, alongside leading a project team.

Candidates should have NBIS/CBSI credentials, PA Team Leader qualification, and a background in bridge design and rehabilitation. Travel up to 25% and a strong client-facing background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years related experience.
• NBIS Certified Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) in PA with up-to-date refresher training.
• PA qualified as a CBSI Team Leader.
• Fracture Critical Inspection/Scour Evaluation training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform bridge safety inspections per NBIS and PennDOT Pub 238.
• Supervise team members on inspections and reports.
• Prepare neat and organized reports.
• Develop task deliverables in a complete and reviewable manner.
• Work with Project Manager/Senior Engineer to manage schedules and budgets.
