Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor's in civil engineering, EIT certification, and 2 years of bridge inspection experience, with leadership and communication skills. PE license and FHWA NHI certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• E.I.T. certification is required.
• At least 2 years of bridge inspection experience.
• Legal work authorization in the United States.
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist bridge inspection teams on DOT projects.
• Perform NBIS-compliant bridge inspections.
• Prepare bridge inspection reports.

Position Overview

The Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader is responsible for performing NBIS-compliant bridge inspections across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New York. This role includes assisting inspection teams and preparing inspection reports to ensure compliance with FHWA standards.
