Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Project Superintendent for a design-build bridge and heavy civil project north of Tampa Bay.

You will lead field operations, coordinate foremen and subcontractors, and manage safety, schedule and budget in the FDOT context. Based in Tampa Bay or Central Florida, or willing to relocate, you will work onsite with engineers and FDOT inspectors to ensure production goals are met and daily reports are maintained.

Qualifications

• 5 to 7+ years of bridge experience on heavy highway and bridge construction.
• Time as a superintendent running a bridge or interchange job.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA competent person
• Clean driving record
• Design build experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work
• Schedule foremen, crews and subcontractors
• Set production goals and hold the crews to them
• Plan the work with the project manager and engineers
• Own jobsite safety and act as the OSHA competent person
• Work directly with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team
• Track quantities, production and field cost against budget
• Keep daily reports and field documentation current
• Coordinate material, equipment and deliveries
