KingRecruitingServices is seeking a Project Superintendent for a design-build bridge and heavy civil project north of Tampa Bay. The role oversees field operations, foremen, and subcontractors, and ensures safety, schedule, and budget in FDOT work.

Located in the North Tampa Bay / Hernando County area, this full-time onsite position prioritizes a track record of bridge and highway construction, FDOT familiarity, and the ability to relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of bridge experience on heavy highway and bridge construction.
• Experience as a field or project superintendent on bridge or interchange projects.
• Working knowledge of FDOT contracts, specs and reporting.
• OSHA competent person certification or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and valid license.

Responsibilities

• Run daily field operations on bridge and highway work.
• Schedule foremen, crews and subcontractors.
• Set production goals and monitor performance to meet them.
• Plan work with the project manager and engineers.
• Own jobsite safety and act as the OSHA competent person.
• Coordinate with FDOT inspectors and the owner's team.
• Track quantities, production and field costs against budget.
• Keep daily reports and field documentation current.
• Coordinate material, equipment and deliveries.
