Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• PE license recognized by licensing board; AK licensure preferred/obtainable.
• 3+ years in bridge design including calculations and plan development.
• Experience managing junior staff and project tasks.
• Proficiency with structural design software and Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural design, analysis, and detailing to bid plans for bridges and related structures.
• Develop structural details using specialized software and perform load calculations.
• Bridge inspection and load rating calculations; assist with layout and studies.
• Review, assign work, and check calculations and specifications by junior staff.
• Serve as project manager or structures lead on projects of varying sizes.
