Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Anchorage seeks a Bridge EIT/Designer to join the Alaska Bridge and Structures Team. You will participate in bridge designs, develop design plans, and assist with structural calculations under supervision of a Professional Engineer.

You will work on road, rail, and marine projects with growth opportunities and a collaborative employee-owned culture in a growing Alaska practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, EIT certificate preferred.
• EIT certificate; MS Office, MathCAD and engineering software experience.
• Experience with multiple structural analysis and design packages listed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in bridge designs and develop design plans.
• Review shop drawings and field submittals in a team setting.
• Support the bridge design group with detailing techniques.
• Perform bridge inspection and construction observation as needed
