Job summary

CTL Engineering, Inc. is actively seeking Bridge Engineers at all levels to join our multi-location firm with a long history in civil and structural work.

The role covers the full lifecycle of bridge projects from conception through completion, including design, analysis, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. You will apply state DOT design standards, prepare technical reports, and mentor junior engineers while advancing your skills in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• MSCE preferred but not required.
• Experience in bridge engineering with focus on NCDOT projects.
• Proficiency in bridge design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee bridge design and analysis projects per State DOT requirements.
• Perform structural analysis and design for various bridge types.
• Prepare and review reports, drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
• Conduct field inspections of bridge conditions.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Stay updated on DOT policies and industry practices.
