Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in the United States seeks an Engineer-in-Training to join our structural/bridge design team for summer 2027, under supervision of a Professional Engineer.

You'll assist in design and construction drawings, perform calculations, coordinate disciplines, and contribute to ISO compliance and budget targets; requires ABET-accredited engineering degree, 0–2 years experience, and knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit, Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of engineering experience or internship experience.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong skills in Word and Excel and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and preparation of construction drawings for structural (bridge) projects.
• Perform engineering calculations and interpret drawings/specifications.
• Draft/CADD work across multiple disciplines and coordinate with teams.
• Conduct site visits to gather data, measurements, sketches and photos.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specs and cost estimates for review.
• Ensure ISO compliance and that projects stay within budget and schedule.
