Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Construction Engineer-in-Training for Summer 2027 to join our growing construction engineering team.

You will assist with design and analysis of temporary and permanent works, communicating concepts through sketches and calculations, and supporting project deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates have ABET-accredited engineering degrees, familiarity with MicroStation/AutoCAD/Revit, and strong written and verbal communication

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-Accredited Program.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
General knowledge of design software: MicroStation, AutoCAD, Revit.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; good communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

Perform structural engineering analysis and design of temporary and permanent works.
Complete structural analysis of permanent structures during the construction phase.
Develop and assess construction sequence proposals.
Produce sketches to communicate the design to clients.
Assist in preparation of project deliverables: reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Carry out basic survey work and observe construction activities.
