The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET-accredited), familiarity with MicroStation/OpenRoads/AutoCAD, strong Word/Excel skills, and good written communication. An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.

• General knowledge of required design software (MicroStation, AutoCAD, OpenRoads)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of multiple construction plans for transportation projects under supervision
• Perform engineering calculations, interpretation of drawings and specifications, and assistance with proposals
• Coordinate work of multiple engineering disciplines and perform drafting/CADD work for the project
• Develop engineering reports, quantities and construction cost estimates
