Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Oklahoma City is seeking a design-oriented engineer to produce and modify calculations, technical reports, and plans for large infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with the project manager on research, development, and delivery of designs using current tools.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering with several years of relevant experience; master’s or PhD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus 4+ years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 3+ years of experience, or
• PhD in Engineering with 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within schedule and hours provided.
• Develops discipline-specific engineering project elements, reports, designs and plans.
• Mentors junior staff and provides constructive feedback.
• Performs quality control reviews of discipline-specific deliverables.
• Coordinates schedules, hours, and distribution of work within the discipline.
• Works with multiple disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Supports project delivery for a diverse range of assignments.
