Job summary

HNTB seeks an entry to junior level engineer to assist in producing and modifying design calculations, technical reports, engineering plans and specs for assigned projects. You will research, develop calculations, and deliver design solutions in partnership with the project team.

You will apply engineering techniques and design criteria to projects across sizes and complexities, contributing to successful delivery for HNTB’s diverse client base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.
• EIT certification is preferred
• Experience with NC and SC Design Standards or similar is a plus

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work within the schedule and hours provided.
• Prepares or modifies project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
• Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates.
• Assists engineering teams with organization and administrative support of design files.
• Self-sufficiently completes tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, and design.
