Job summary

HNTB is seeking an experienced engineer to lead design calculations, technical reports, and engineering plans for varied projects. You will interact with the project manager for research, development, and timely delivery, applying engineering methods while mentoring junior staff to meet project schedules.

The role emphasizes conceptual and detailed design work, client communications, and collaboration across disciplines to ensure successful project delivery for our clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• PhD in Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and distribute discipline-specific work with schedule and budget adherence.
• Support marketing tasks, including proposal generation.
• Develop scope of work and level of effort for projects within the discipline.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of the project team’s work and mentor the team.
• Coordinate technical aspects with client counterparts and partners.
• Collaborate with multiple disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
