Job summary

Bridge EIT is seeking a Bridge Engineer in Indianapolis, IN for a hybrid, permanent role. You will design bridges, perform NBIS inspections, and develop construction plans while collaborating with Professional Engineers. The position supports professional development toward PE licensure and occasional travel for inspections. Compensation ranges $70,000–$100,000 per year with relocation paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• NBIS inspection experience or exposure preferred.
• Ability to perform design calculations and prepare drawings.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally and pursue PE licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design bridges and transportation structures under guidance of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform structural calculations and plan development.
• Develop construction documents, estimates, and bid packages.
• Support NBIS inspections and field operations.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on projects.
