Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required).
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of employment (or ability to attain within a year).
Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in bridge design and bridge inspection.
Knowledge of AASHTO and DOT bridge design standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for structural elements of transportation and roadway projects.
Develop and oversee bridge, retaining wall, and other structural design.
Lead or support the preparation of construction documents.
Lead or support bridge condition inspections throughout Ohio.
Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers.
Ensure quality control and compliance with design standards.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams on project coordination.
Contribute to project scoping, scheduling, and proposal development.
