Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required).
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of employment (or ability to attain within a year).
• Minimum of 4+ years of progressive experience in bridge design and bridge inspection.
• Knowledge of AASHTO and DOT bridge design standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to self-motivate and thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design for structural elements of transportation and roadway projects.
• Develop and oversee bridge, retaining wall, and other structural design.
• Lead or support the preparation of construction documents.
• Lead or support bridge condition inspections throughout Ohio.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior engineers.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with design standards.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams on project coordination.
• Contribute to project scoping, scheduling, and proposal development.
