Job summary

AllSearch Staffing Group is assisting a civil engineering firm in Indianapolis/Lafayette, IN, to recruit a Bridge Inspection Project Manager. The person will oversee bridge and small-structure inspection projects across Indiana, with hybrid work options possible.

Requirements include a BS in Civil Engineering and an active Indiana PE license, plus INDOT Team Leader certification or ability to obtain within 1 year. Travel across Indiana is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• Active Indiana PE license required.
• INDOT Bridge Inspection Team Leader certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience with bridge/transportation engineering is required.
• Ability to travel across Indiana for inspections.

Responsibilities

• Manage budgets, schedules, and workloads for bridge inspection contracts.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Perform field inspections of bridges, culverts, and small structures in Indiana.
• Review and approve bridge inspection reports and load rating calculations.
• Identify deficiencies and develop repair/maintenance recommendations.
• Prepare cost estimates for repairs.
• Prioritize repairs based on findings and conditions.
• Assist with bridge design calculations as needed.
