Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Bridge Engineer in a hybrid Columbus, OH role. You will design bridges and transportation structures, perform structural analyses, and develop plans and cost estimates under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.

This early-career opportunity includes NBIS inspection exposure, PE licensure alignment, and travel. A Bachelor’s in Civil/Structural Engineering is required; MicroStation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an accredited program.
• Strong foundation in structural engineering concepts, geometry, and calculations.
• Willingness to learn, communicate technical information, and develop skills.

Responsibilities

• Design bridges and transportation structures under a Professional Engineer.
• Perform structural calculations for components and layouts.
• Develop construction plans, specs, quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and bid packages.
• Support NBIS inspections and report writing.
• Use MicroStation to develop detailed designs.
• Travel locally and regionally as needed.
