Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (required) and familiarity with engineering software as listed.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and knowledge of engineering software such as LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, and others.
• Bentley OpenBridge Modeler and/or Autodesk InfraWorks and Civil3D a must.
• Strong understanding and hands-on use of computers for structural layout and design.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment.
• Active participation in HDR's employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in bridge designs.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with geometric layout and quantity development.
• Select standard bridge procedures and develop structural details with specialized software.
• Participate in bridge inspection and assist with geometric layout and quantity development.
• Perform other duties as needed.
