Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a Bridge EIT/Bridge Design Coordinator for Idaho projects, joining the Idaho Bridge Group in Coeur d'Alene and Boise. You will apply engineering and detailing techniques to bridge designs and contribute to highway project work across multiple bridge types.

Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Structural/Civil Engineering and an EIT, with hands-on experience in OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and related software. This role supports growth within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with structural design software and standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply structural engineering and detailing techniques in the development of bridge designs.
• Work on highway project designs including various bridge types and interchanges.
• Develop structural details using specialized software.
• Periodically conduct bridge inspections or field observations.
• Perform structural load calculations and assist with layout and quantity development.
• Perform other duties as needed.
