Job summary

The Mannik & Smith Group, Inc. is seeking an Experienced Bridge Engineer to lead innovative bridge and structural projects throughout Michigan. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely while collaborating closely with other engineering teams. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, at least 8 years of experience in bridge design, and a Michigan PE license. Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in bridge design and structural engineering.
• Michigan Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience with MDOT and/or MDOT LAP projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform bridge and structural design according to MDOT and AASHTO standards.
• Contribute to the full project lifecycle from concept through construction.
• Prepare bridge layouts, material quantity calculations, and construction specifications.
