Consor in Florida is seeking a Bridge Engineering Designer to provide technical guidance for due diligence, investigation, remediation, and construction of load-bearing structures such as bridges and transportation facilities. You’ll contribute to research, design, planning and field support under the design manager.

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering, an EIT certification, and a willingness to work in both office and field environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Hybrid role requiring office and field work with exposure to weather, humidity, and water hazards depending on project requirements.
• Physical demands include sitting, standing, lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Bridge inspections, assessment, and rehabilitation design.
• Review of shop drawings and field technical support of bridge construction.
• Complete quantities and construction cost estimates.
• Report preparation and cost estimating
