Job summary

Consor is seeking a Bridge CAD Technician to support municipal and transportation bridge projects. You’ll transform conceptual sketches into detailed CAD drawings, review plans for accuracy, and collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure design integrity.

You’ll develop preliminary and final plan drawings, incorporate revisions, and help prepare technical reports and documents while meeting project timelines and quality expectations. This is an office-based role in Texas.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of bridge CAD experience, preferably in Texas.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microstation.
• Office-based role with standard equipment; occasional noise and physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction plans and drawings for accuracy and design compliance.
• Transform sketches and markups into fully developed CAD drawings for project use.
• Develop engineering drawings for preliminary and final plan sets.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and drafters to coordinate design elements across disciplines.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and design documentation.
• Incorporate revisions while supporting project timelines and quality.
