Consor in Texas is seeking a Bridge CAD Technician to provide drafting expertise for municipal and transportation bridge projects. You’ll transform sketches into detailed CAD drawings and develop plan sets for permitting and client delivery, collaborating with engineers and designers to coordinate across disciplines.

You’ll review drawings, incorporate revisions, and support project timelines while applying design standards and quality expectations in a professional office environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related bridge CAD experience, preferably within Texas.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil3D and MicroStation.

Responsibilities

• Review construction plans and drawings for accuracy and design standard alignment.
• Transform sketches and markups into fully developed CAD drawings for project use.
• Develop engineering drawings for preliminary and final plan sets.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and drafters to coordinate design elements across disciplines.
• Assist in preparing technical reports and design documentation.
• Incorporate revisions while maintaining drawing integrity to meet timelines.
