Job summary

Consor in Houston, TX is seeking a Bridge CAD Technician to support municipal and transportation bridge projects. You will transform sketches and redlines into fully developed CAD drawings, review plans, and help produce preliminary and final plan sets for client delivery.

Working with engineers and drafters, you’ll ensure design standards are met, incorporate revisions, and contribute to reports and permitting documents.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related bridge CAD experience, preferrably within Texas.
• Proficiency with some or all of the following: AutoCAD, Civil3D, Microstation.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret construction plans, drawings, and technical figures to ensure accuracy and alignment with design standards.
• Transform conceptual sketches, redlines, and markups into fully developed CAD drawings ready for project use and client delivery.
• Develop comprehensive engineering drawings for preliminary and final plan sets, ensuring consistency and adherence to project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and fellow drafters to coordinate design elements and resolve discrepancies across disciplines.
• Assist in the preparation and compilation of technical reports, design documentation, and supporting project deliverables.
• Incorporate revisions and feedback efficiently, maintaining drawing integrity while supporting project timelines and quality expectations.
