Job summary

Consor is seeking a Principal Bridge Engineer to lead design, review, and delivery of complex bridge projects. You will mentor teams, maintain QA/QC standards, and support business development through technical leadership.

The role requires senior-level expertise in transportation engineering, PE licensure, and proficiency with Microstation, AutoCAD, and Civil3D. Hybrid office/field work is expected in a dynamic project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum fifteen years of transportation engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Proficiency in Microstation, AutoCad, and Civil3D software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and review of major infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, agencies, and contractors to resolve technical challenges and deliver constructible solutions.
• Support and contribute to business development through proposal strategy, technical presentations, and pursuit leadership on key projects.
• Provide high-level guidance and QA/QC oversight across multiple projects and teams to ensure technical consistency.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and firmwide technical authority for complex infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical support on a variety of bridge projects.
• Lead successful delivery of high-quality projects within budget and on schedule.
• Collaborate with others and lead transportation and bridge teams in all aspects of bridge analysis and design, from conceptual planning and preliminary design to final design and construction.
• Identify, creative and innovative engineering solutions based on client, project, and site constraints.
