David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards while delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves sewing, steaming, and managing alterations with a focus on dress quality and presentation.

You will support stylists, advise customers on gown fit and customization, and maintain a clean, organized alterations room. This is a part-time position offering employee benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal or special occasion preferred.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm and adapt communication to suit each client.
• Manage alterations, fittings, sewing, steaming, and finishing per standards.
• Assist stylists to close sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain orderly alterations room and ensure pristine garment condition.
• Resolve customer questions with product and service information.
