David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Specialist to complete fittings and alterations to high standards, delivering friendly, knowledgeable service. You will work with the in-store team to provide expert alteration services, assist stylists with gown fittings, and uphold brand standards while ensuring a superior customer experience.

The role emphasizes sewing and alteration proficiency, strong customer interaction, and adherence to the store’s policies, with a part-time schedule in a retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store preferred.
• Prior sewing experience required, bridal/special occasion preferred.
• Experience with computerized POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via chats, adapting style to suit each customer.
• Manage customer flow to deliver five-star experience using store systems.
• Maintain service levels with preparedness, welcoming attitude, and meeting customer needs.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and contribute to Five-Star service goals.
• Address customer concerns confidently and escalate when needed.
• Explain alterations’ role in perfecting dress and promote services and personalization options.
• Assist stylists in closing sales by advising on gown fit and customization.
• Maintain store standards and dress code compliance for a flawless shopping experience.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments; ensure garments pass quality checks.
• Accurately process transactions and support cash wrap activities.
• Keep alterations room clean, organized, and stocked as required.
• Respond to customer questions with product and service information.
• Build long-term relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Handle inventory tasks including special orders and pickups with quality control.
