Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a bricklayer or journeyman mason.
• Strong technical skills in laying brick, block, and other masonry materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and masonry units according to specifications.
• Mix and apply mortar for bonding.
• Interpret blueprints to determine layout and materials.
• Repair and restore existing masonry structures as required.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate is a skilled journeyman bricklayer with a proven ability to perform daily bricklaying tasks efficiently and to the highest standards of quality. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively on commercial, industrial, and government projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units according to project specifications.
• Mix and apply mortar, ensuring consistency and proper bonding.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layout and materials needed.
• Cut, shape, and align materials with precision for a clean finish.
• Repair and restore existing masonry structures as required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite at all times.
• Collaborate with foremen, crew members, and project managers to meet schedules and production goals.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications
