Magic Mountain Chimney Sweep, Fireplaces & Grills in Westminster, MD is seeking a full-time Brick Mason to join our growing team. You will perform a wide range of masonry tasks, including measuring, preparing work areas, mixing mortar, and laying bricks, while focusing on quality craftsmanship.

This role requires residential construction experience, thorough knowledge of brickwork, and the ability to work safely on scaffolds.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bricklaying and masonry, especially residential construction.
• Thorough knowledge of brickwork, masonry construction, tools, and materials.
• Strong safety knowledge and adherence to state codes.
• Good physical endurance for heavy lifting and long hours.

Responsibilities

Magic Mountain Chimney Sweep, Fireplaces & Grills is seeking an experienced full-time Brick Mason to join our growing team. What You Will Do

• a) Perform a wide range of masonry tasks, including measuring and preparing work areas, mixing and applying mortar, and laying bricks.
• b) Execute expert brick, chimney, and interior residential masonry repairs.
• Work safely on scaffolds at varying heights.
• c) Prepare and maintain accurate project records and reports.
• d) Maintain a professional, service-oriented relationship with customers and co-workers.

Note: Overtime, including Saturdays, may be required during our peak seasons.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Proven experience in the bricklaying and masonry trade (Residential construction experience preferred).
• Trade Knowledge: Thorough understanding of all types of brick/masonry construction, common breakdowns, standard repair procedures, tools, and materials.
• Safety First: Deep knowledge of safety requirements and state codes relating to the trade.
• Physical Ability: Sufficient strength and endurance to perform physical labor, including heavy lifting, bending, stooping, and twisting on a continuous basis.

Requirements: U.S. work authorization and willingness to undergo a criminal background check prior to hire.
