Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 for the Chico facility. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, testing and repair of production and facilities equipment under the Maintenance Supervisor.

You will diagnose, repair and service a wide range of brewery machinery, with weekend/on-call responsibilities and a 9 PM–5:30 AM shift plus 15% differential. Candidates should have 3 years industrial maintenance experience, an associate degree or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• 3 years industrial maintenance experience required.
• Proficient with MS 365 and CMMS systems MP2, SAP, Maximo.
• Read and interpret SOPs, manuals, and engineering specs.
• Accurate use of precision measuring tools (calipers, gauges, etc.).
• Know and follow Confined Space Entry, NFPA 70E and Lockout procedures.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Execute work orders and source parts from storeroom; operate lifts as needed.
• Perform preventive maintenance and suggest reliability improvements.
• Inspect, diagnose, repair machinery; respond to urgent maintenance across sites.
• Lubricate and rebuild shafts, bearings, gears and related parts.
• Maintain pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment; repair gauges and valves.
• Install or replace machines and equipment, test functionality.
• Repair electrical components including motors, relays, sensors.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, temperature, pressure, flow control; basic PLC troubleshooting.
• Perform other duties as needed; weekend work and on-call coverage required.
