Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Brewer Technician 1 to operate and monitor our state-of-the-art brewing systems. You will follow SOPs, support brewing, cellar and filtration operations, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure top-quality beer.

The role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset. For the 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) there is a 15% shift differential.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in a team-oriented, production environment required.
• 1 year experience in a brewery, winery, or distillery preferred.
• Formal brewing training or certification preferred.
• Strong adherence to SOPs, GMP, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to carry out production and cleaning processes and monitor readings.
• Use manual and automated systems to ensure quality from raw materials to filtration.
• Perform CIP and COP on vessels and lines with proper safety measures.
• Maintain inventory control and FIFO/logistics data in system.
• Communicate with Quality, Packaging, and Maintenance to meet objectives.
• Maintain 5S and a sanitary work area with regular audits.
