Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Brewer Technician 1 to efficiently operate and monitor our state-of-the-art brewing systems. You will work under the Brewing Supervisor, developing knowledge in brewing, cellaring, and filtration while maintaining high quality standards.

This role includes 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:30am) with a 15% shift differential, comprehensive benefits, and a focus on safety, GMP, and cost-conscious production. Enthusiastic teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal brewing education and/or recognized brewing certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a team-based production environment required.
• Experience in a brewery, winery, or distillery strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to operate production, monitor readings, and troubleshoot deviations.
• Maintain CIP/COP routines and ensure safety during cleaning and maintenance.
• Enter data in CMMS and manage inventories per FIFO and traceability.
• Coordinate with Quality, Packaging, and Maintenance for department goals.
• Maintain 5S practices and GMP-compliant work areas.
• Develop knowledge of plant utilities and assist with basic equipment maintenance.
