Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician 2 to install, test, repair and provide preventive maintenance for production and facilities equipment across our brewery.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will deliver technical and diagnostic support for brewery operations. The role requires 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical/mechanical skills, and familiarity with CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
• 3 years Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Competent with MS 365 Office suite (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) in addition to a CMMS (MP2, SAP, Maximo).
• Ability to read SOPs, operator manuals and engineering specs.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (feeler gauges, calipers, tape measures).
• Know and comply with Confined Space Entry, NFPA 70E and Lockout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work orders and address issues at all locations; checkout parts from storeroom; operate forklift and lifts as needed.
• Complete preventive maintenance work orders and recommend reliability improvements.
• Inspect, test, diagnose and repair machinery; respond to urgent maintenance needs.
• Clean, lubricate and rebuild shafts, bearings and gears; maintain pipes and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Install, remove, repair or replace machines and equipment; repair electrical components and sensors.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation, temperature, pressure and flow control loops; basic PLC/motor control troubleshooting.
• Weekend work and call in coverage are required.
