Job summary

Hendler Family Brewing Company in Framingham is seeking a Software Engineering and IT Co-Op to join our Data team. You'll ship bug fixes and new features to internal applications used by production, taproom, marketing, and operations, and write SQL in our ERP to answer real business questions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or related field.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and SQL required.
• Basic knowledge of ERP, MRP, and CRMs vocabulary preferred.
• Familiarity with AI tools and Claude Code preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware setup and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of manufacturing or production systems.
• Clear communication of technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Strong organization and ability to meet deadlines while hybrid/remote days.
• Experience with Google Workspace.
• Knowledge of the craft beer industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal web applications fullstack (React, TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL).
• Write and maintain SQL queries and reports in SAP Business One ERP.
• Perform data analysis to support production, inventory, and sales.
• Support IT operations: set up computers, image redeployment, hardware/software troubleshooting.
• Assist the company help desk with bug reports and data requests.
• Use Claude Code and similar AI tools to accelerate development and debugging.
• Document code changes, queries, deployments, and resolutions.
