Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA seeks a co-op student to join our machine intelligence bioinformatics efforts, building a shared data ecosystem for biological data and contributing to diverse projects from bioinformatics to data science.

You will design, implement, test, and document engineering solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop practical knowledge of complex systems while leveraging JavaScript, HTML, and RESTful approaches.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited full-time BS/MS program in CS or related field.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
• Able to start co-op January 2027 and contribute to bioinformatics projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance engineering solutions for challenging problems.
• Implement, test, and analyze; provide documentation and reports.
• Generate and present test reports including plots, tables, evaluation criteria, and conclusions.
• Complete assignments to develop practical knowledge of processes, procedures, equipment, facilities, and systems.
