Job summary

Grey Sail Brewing Company of RI in Westerly, RI seeks a Brewery Associate to participate in all aspects of cellar work and assist with brewhouse operations, under the Head Brewer. The role reports to HR for personnel matters and runs 10am–6pm daily.

Responsibilities include cellar, brewhouse, and QC tasks, safety and record-keeping, and training to cover Head Brewer duties. Compensation is $20.00–$25.00 per hour for a full-time position with medical, dental, vision benefits or stipend elsewhere,

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Safety standards and quality control are essential.
• Experience with cellar, brewhouse, and QC tasks preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate cellar, brewhouse and QC tasks under supervision.
• Transfer beer from fermenters to brite tanks and CIP equipment.
• Maintain sanitation of all beer contact surfaces and equipment.
• Relieve head brewer during shift and assist with brewing process.
