Job summary

Anheuser-Busch is seeking an experienced Brewery Area Manager to own the budget and performance of brewing and packaging processes in a fast-paced, highly automated environment. You will develop and execute action plans to meet critical metrics, manage production schedules, and lead a unionized team on the production floor.

The role offers opportunities to grow as a leader, drive process improvements, and work closely with senior leaders to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, engineering, supply chain, science or related field is most relevant.
• 1-3 years of experience as a supervisor in a unionized production department preferred.
• Willingness to work multiple shifts, including weekends.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to lead by example.
• Comfort with change and strong influencing skills to catalyze change.
• Experience with continuous improvement tools and processes is a plus.
• Strong organization skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Front-line manager role supervising a unionized team in a 24/7 production facility to optimize production efficiency.
• Learn packaging processes through hands-on training.
• Develop, monitor, and maintain production plans, inventories, and schedules to ensure excellent process performance and product quality.
• Plan, direct, and manage packaging activities to achieve KPI targets.
• Identify areas to improve operations to meet KPIs and targets.
• Ensure daily production efficiencies, quality expectations, and schedule attainment.
• Lead health and safety programs and enforce critical safety and quality aspects in brewing/beer operations or packaging.
• Create and implement tools and resources to improve quality, safety, and efficiency.
