Job summary

The Boston Beer Corporation invites applications for a Manager, Brewery Operational Excellence at the Samuel Adams Brewery in Breinigsville, PA. You will drive operational excellence across the brewery, coaching teams in lean tools, problem solving and value stream mapping to achieve measurable performance gains.

Responsibilities include leading lean initiatives on the floor, developing site strategies, and aligning manufacturing performance with financial results.

Qualifications

• Experience leading lean initiatives in manufacturing or OE leadership roles.
• Proven ability to coach leaders and drive standardized processes across a complex site.
• Knowledge of lean methodologies and change management in large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead OE initiatives using lean principles to reduce waste and improve performance.
• Coach leaders and teams on lean tools, problem solving, and value stream mapping.
• Develop and implement a site lean strategy aligned with business needs.
• Partner with Finance and implementers to align manufacturing performance with financial results.
• Build tools, systems and KPIs to sustain improvements.
• Analyze performance data to identify cost reduction and productivity gains.
• Apply 5S, visual management and MES to improve workflow.
• Support implementation planning, including timelines and resources.
• Operate in production with high safety and situational awareness.
