Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Mills River, NC is seeking a Facility Support Worker to handle facility-wide janitorial and sanitation duties, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the brewery and restaurant, including public areas and restrooms.

The role reports to the Facility Support Supervisor and may assist with deep-cleaning projects such as power washing. The position offers 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am) with a 15% shift differential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of industrial cleaning or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic math and literacy skills
• Basic computer skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to become certified and operate forklift, scissor-lift and articulating boom (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Performs daily and periodic housekeeping and sanitation tasks across all areas
• Manages waste streams for Hop Forward sustainability program
• Maintains outdoor spaces cleanliness
• Operates industrial equipment and cleaning tools safely
• Identifies maintenance needs and performs minor repairs
• Follows safety, environmental, and quality protocols
• Responds to immediate cleaning or support needs across brewery and restaurant
• Provides courteous guest assistance and directions
