Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited school of Ultrasound/Sonography or completion of an accredited sonography program.
• Certificate of Completion of a Hospital base program or Associate’s degree from an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• BLS certification within 6–12 months after hire; registry eligibility/ARDMS exams as required per role.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment and record-keeping in the department.
• Demonstrate excellent patient and physician communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Assist radiologists with optimal diagnostic ultrasound scans and reporting.
• Maintain equipment, perform basic QC, and keep accurate patient documentation.
