Qualifications

• Registered in Diagnostic Radiology required

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the unit each day and prepares paperwork for exams.
• Greets patients, takes history, and explains the exam to patients to ease fears.
• Conducts radiographic examinations and develops images; determines need for extra views.
• Prepares patient files and maintains patient records for radiologist review.
• Keeps the department clean, stocked, and compliant with policies and regulations.
