Bronson Battle Creek Hospital is seeking a Mammography/Breast Ultrasound Technologist for days, part-time. The role includes diagnostic and screening exams, patient comfort, and collaboration with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging.

Education includes an Associate’s degree in radiologic technology and ARRT registration, plus mammography and breast ultrasound credentials within set timelines. BLS within 6–12 months is required.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in radiologic technology or related imaging field and ARRT registration.
• ARRT mammography certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Breast ultrasound credential required (BR or SB).
• Basic Life Support certification within 6-12 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and prepare patients for breast imaging exams and obtain histories.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound.
• Assist radiologists during image-guided procedures as needed.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and dignity during imaging.
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality imaging and timely reporting.
• Maintain equipment readiness and report malfunctions promptly.
• Document examinations accurately in EMR and imaging systems.
