Job summary

Bronson Healthcare in Battle Creek seeks a Mammography/Breast Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic and screening breast imaging. You will operate specialized imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and support radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires ARRT registration, mammography certification within a year, and BLS. You will collaborate with radiology staff to deliver high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care in a busy breast imaging center.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging/Ultrasound program.
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology registration required.
• Mammography certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Breast Ultrasound credential required (BR or ARRT Breast Sonography).
• BLS certification required within 6-12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet, identify, and prepare patients for breast imaging examinations.
• Position patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images with comfort and dignity.
• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography and breast ultrasound.
• Assist radiologists during breast imaging procedures, including biopsies and localizations.
• Maintain accurate records in EMR and imaging systems.
• Adhere to radiation and ultrasound safety standards and infection control.

Education

Associate's degree

Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Imaging, Ultrasound/Sonography, or related healthcare imaging program
