UCHealth Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, Colorado, seeks a Mammography Technologist to perform breast sonography in accordance with practice standards and organizational mission.

The role is full-time, on-site only, with a pay range of $42.01–$58.82 per hour, dependent on experience. Primary duties include patient education, exam performance, image quality, and support of interventional procedures.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Positions patient and performs screening and diagnostic mammography.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with and resolves quality of imaging results, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.
• Assists physician with performing interventional procedures including ultrasound and stereotactic guided biopsies, fine needle aspiration and localizations.
• Prepares equipment
