Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with (R).
• BLS or CPR certification through AHA/ARC valid through hire date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; schedule and educate patient about procedures.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications as allowed; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors; perform quality controls; troubleshoot equipment.
• Position patients; perform imaging; analyze results; transmit images; may work with Radiology students.
• Demonstrate critical thinking; work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Education

Radiologic Technologist program graduate

ARRT registration (R)

BLS/CPR certification (AHA or ARC)
