Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO is seeking an MRI Technologist for the LPH MRI department. The role is full-time, evenings, onsite, with pay between $40.40 and $56.56 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities include patient education, contrast administration, equipment prep, image quality assessment, and timely reporting of results. Requires ARRT MRI or ARMRIT registry and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT and registered in MRI or registry eligible with completion within 12 months by ARRT or ARMRIT.
• BLS/CPR certification with card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within scope; monitor patient status.
• Prepare equipment; select exposure factors; perform quality control; troubleshoot equipment.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results and report problems in image quality.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
