Duke Breast Surgical Oncology Clinic in Durham, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to work with attending physicians, collect data, perform procedures, order labs and provide direct patient care.

Primary hours are Monday through Friday, day shift. The role supports Duke Health's outpatient clinic network with opportunities for collaboration, ongoing education, and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree in Nursing.
• Physician Assistants: Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare for consults including documentation, triage, exams, data collection, and direct patient care.
• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order labs, and coordinate medications and interventions.
• Coordinate care with supervising physicians, nursing staff, and the care team.
• Document all findings and responses in the electronic medical record.
