Job summary

Duke Raleigh Thoracic Surgery Clinic in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to collaborate with attending physicians, collect and document data, conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and provide direct patient care. Primary hours will be Monday through Friday, day shift, with hours flexible to meet the needs of the patients.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of APP experience strongly preferred.
• NP must have a Master's degree in Nursing.
• PA must have a Bachelor's degree; Master's preferred for PA track.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Order and schedule laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures; explain procedures to patients.
• Document patient data and maintain EMR records; communicate with care team.
• Provide direct patient care and conduct rounds for thoracic surgery patients.
