Job summary
Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center in Buffalo, NY seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider II for the Breast Surgery/Oncology team. You will partner with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality cancer care through all treatment phases, guiding patients with education and compassionate care.
The role offers a starting salary of $124,614 plus an $8,510 geographic differential, with a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications
- Active NYS RN license and NP/PA credentials as applicable.
- Current NYS Nurse Practitioner certification or PA certification.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or PA-related field.
- Commitment to ALS; ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
- Two years of Advanced Practice Provider experience in cancer care.
Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients across all stages of treatment and recovery.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with the healthcare team.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; adjust care as needed.
- Prescribe medications and therapies appropriately.
- Educate patients and families; provide compassionate support.
- Coordinate care across specialties for seamless patient experiences.
- Mentor junior providers, nurses, residents, and students.
